Odin 2 mini Over 90 😊
I own a MSI Lepoard Gaming Laptop from 2019. Core i-7 9750H CPU / GTX 1660 ti GPU. I remember times when the first SONY exclusives arrived on Steam - poorly optimized with Devs stating that you need more VRAM. Well… my GPU has 6GB. After several performance patches everything runs smoothly. Is it the fault of the Hardware OR was it rather a Software topic? I guess we know the answer. When I look at the Hardware overview on Steam, I still see many gamers with an old GTX 1060 or GTX 1070. Are they holding back gaming too? What about Valves Steam Deck? Is it holding back gaming too? I don’t think so 😊 I’ve seen many comments from Gamers owning a Steam Deck and are willing to play with 30FPS - but are not enjoying 30 FPS caps on Series S. I don’t get it. Nevertheless: my Gaming Laptop and my 1 TB Series S complement each other perfectly. According to some tech analysts, the mobile GTX 1660 ti is said to achieve 4.88 TFLOPS. So… I would say - seen from pure stats - that I have 2 similar systems (I know… this is a bit naive). BUT! I can play Starfield on my Series S. My Laptop instead struggles. I can easily play Elden Ring on my Series S - without tinkering on graphic settings. My Laptop is my JRPG machine, while I play FPS and other more demanding games on my Series S. Last note: I recently started playing Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus. I can play with HIGH settings and 60 FPS on 1440p. I made a Graphics comparison. Even the Series S seems to run on HIGH details. Everything looks similar. From lighting to shadows to draw distance. Do I recommend the Series S? From my point of view as someone who has no interests in playing in 4K - yes. It’s a nice little console 👌
i don't know if buy this console or Steam deck OLED what should I do ? cheers, I want a powerful handheldconsole and I only have a switch I think steam deck oled is more useful... but odyn 2 looks nice and pretty
You looking to just emulate or do more? If you wanna play GameCube and PS2 games on the go, this is a good console. Steam deck is better at most other things but way less portable
Does this come pre loaded with all the games?
No, you’d need to download your own roms from somewhere like Vimm.net
WHY THERE ARE NO ODIN 2 OLED 😢😢😢. WHEN U GO OLED , U CANT GO BACK.
OLED is a must. Everything else looks OLD compared to it. The legion go looks like it could be 6 years old.
Really love the spreadsheet evaluation!
If I use the Split Pad Pro with an OLED Switch, will the battery still outlast the Lite?
Bang on review... Everything you mentioned makes it my new controller, just amazing.. I love it.. Great job
Great house. Congrats.
Honest? More like clueless review
I ordered one from Amazon and I had very wobbly sticks. What is amazing is that you can really change the commands for every key in the PC software so you can even use it for games that don't support controllers. At the end I send it back because I can have a 30 bucks controller without wobbly sticks.
I owned switch love it. But I also hate it for not having Netflix, Twitch stopped support and some digital licenses problem watching RUclips using genki dock.
Im still baffled that the switch didnt come with a case when its a portabable devicd
12:41 i just wanna add that you have to have a gaming laptop plugged in, in order to get the performance its capabile of!! Very important to understand. It has to he plugged in!
bethesda games on xbox also have more mod possibilities cause of playstation having a external asset rules on PS
Bro finally dropped the mic, best decision ever 😂
"Objective" a.k.a. "I came here to dissent against the Odin 2," lol...
It's made in 🇨🇳 like ayaneo and other's no software no customer service
As someone who wants to get into PC and wants to use a mouse for aiming, but has some pretty severe issues trying to use a keyboard for gameplay, I've been really interested in one of these.
Thank for the straight to the point review
I’m GC2 and run this as my RL main controller, the paddles for air roll are placed better for me than any other. I switched from the series 2 to this a couple years ago and after adjusting it’s been amazing for me.
Can you stream ps5 like on the steam deck?
If you are a laptop gamer, this thing is a must have. Its awful to use WASD in a gaming laptop without getting your hand cooked.
Anyone else have problems with the series 2 not fitting in the case properly it squishes tf out of the mesh cord pocket and pushes down on everything.
They are both good devices for different things. The Switch is made for Switch games (obviously), whereas the other device is better for playing games for older consoles.
What game was that you were playing on the SP?
Oracle of Seasons. I’m currently playing through every Zelda game
Is the Odin 2 (base model) enough to run PS2, GameCube, Wii/WiiU, and Switch (I'm not considering TOTK)?
Yes to all but not wii u since there are no emulators for it on android (yet)
Yes ish. There’s just not 100% switch emulators I’ve found yet. I still find yuzu more reliable than suyu so far
Zdecydowanie Steam Deck Oled !!! Mam tą konsolę ponad tydzien i jestem zachwycony !
How do you even emulate Switch games on a device like this?
Yuzu is an emulator app that allows you to, although further development has been discontinued
So, advantages: it is an Android device, disadvantages: it is an Android device.
Correct
Great video. Convinced me to finally make the purchase. I'm excited, I think with everything that's included plus the overall quality, it's a great value controller. I'll come back here after some time to leave a review
Can i switch the chip on that odin ? I want that snapdragon max 3. Is ot possible?
No, this is the best android gaming device I know of. Probably wait for an Odin 3?
@@TechSpaceCowboy thank you so much for replying to my comment. Do you think there will be an Odin 3?
Wonder how long it takes for stick drift to kick in...
Either way, just adjust your deadzone
Got one on sale through Microsoft for $160 and with a $5 Gift Card through Microsoft Rewards. Total payment was $155 after Tax :D
The Switch still wins in the controller grip comparison because even if you don't like the joycons there are third party joycons with better grip that you can buy to replace the original joycons thus making the Switch so much better to hold. Like what I'm using is NYXI joycons with better gripping experience than the original.
*top nox*
It’s a hard notch life
jailbreak the switch then its a retro i also watch netflix on it
I have Android on my Switch, too.
Odin 2 and many other Android Retro handhelds are not suitable for console players. First of all, to get Switch games playable - you need to constantly find and update the emulator, try different ones, update the graphics driver, find patches, etc. This is like the dark days of PC gaming where you need to update DirectX, OpenGL and PC drivers all the time to get better performance. You will spend more time tweaking the device than actually playing the games - this is not what a console is, it's meant to be a pickup and play device. Linux based devices like Miyoo Mini for example, is a console experience. Even the OnionOS is a simple one click solution, it's easy to install and all the games just works. If you want to play Switch game, you can find modded Switch with CFW sold at a much cheaper price than Odin 2 and all the Switch games will run as intended.
This was literally the best review I've seen on anything. I already have one. This video just make me wanna have your baby. 😅 see ya!
I'm just trying to find a place to buy it in the US. All of them are in China it seems and my bank does a fraud alert when I try to purchase.
Amazon my guy. a.co/d/3dhC2n6
@TechSpaceCowboy See I saw these, but I did not know if they where the same thing. Since it shows different brands on these ones. But everything else appears to be the same. So I did not know if these where knock offs or not. But if these are still Abernic rg35xx sp. Then I'm buying one right now. Thank you for confirming.
Get the switch modded. You can even emulate switch on switch not to mention other consoles.
The Odin 1 was designed to fit in a Switch doc and visceral. Odin1 even has that goofy switch notch on it.
it’s a little too small to fit in a switch dock
I've been looking for something exactly like this for MAME. classic arcade games had some really unique controller layouts. duo joycons will make those games playable
I gotta get me the Ayn Odin 2 Max and Nintendo Switch OLED Pokemon edition. P.s. never see you with a beard
Loving the beard!
Hell yeah! Must say I agree with you!
👏👏👏
Loving the regular uploads! AYN Odin 2 looking like a solid device
